Dreams are a conversation with oneself, a dialogue of symbols and images that take place between the unconscious and conscious levels of the mind. Its fantasy, unrealistic, seductive, and beautiful mood is an outlet for human’s desire and obsession, and it brings us subtle catharsis.
Meanwhile, this process comes to us with fear. To accept bare thought is a very reluctant process, yet it randomly comes without knock. While your cognizable ego is suffering this uncomfortable feeling, another you, which was usually reticent under former’s control, resonates with desires. In other words, we harass ourselves, at the same time, we enjoy this sadistic performance.
This project is to visualize a sadistic pleasure when we confront disgraceful desire. By involve viewers in the area of installation, dialogs arise between the piece and viewers; ultimately the project is completed.
